The Jamaica Experience: RCMA Regional Event

Over 50 RCMA members gathered in October for the association’s first-ever international regional event.  The Jamaica Experience was held October 29-November 1 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) partnered with RCMA to create a memorable experience which included site visits at several resort properties and the Montego Bay Convention Center, educational sessions, networking and a trade show. 

John Woolcock, Manager, Groups & Events for JTB, remarked, “Jamaica was excited to be the host destination for the first international RCMA Regional Conference and our supplier partners were pleased to welcome planners to a destination that caters to their groups, while sharing the values of RCMA and it’s members. The feedback from planners was positive as they returned home confident that they could present and sell Jamaica to their clients.”

RCMA is thankful to the JTB for helping to host this first-time event for RCMA, and to all who participated! Look for future opportunities designed to bring exposure to specific destinations and venues as they are announced by RCMA.
