RCMA Board Members Mollie Stewart & Denise Searcy Move On From Positions

RCMA board members Mollie Stewart and Denise Searcy recently announced their retirements from their respective positions as well as their roles with the RCMA board. We asked Mollie and Denise to reflect on their time with RCMA and what they’re most looking forward to in their next chapter.

What are you looking forward to in retirement?

Denise: My husband and I are looking forward to traveling for pleasure and not for business. I really think that I will end up working again in some capacity with the faith-based market. I’d like to take this opportunity to say that I appreciate all of the support I have gotten over the years and I miss you already.

Mollie: More of the same, living life to its fullest, staying connected to God and his people. I have served in many capacities across all levels of the United Methodist Church. I am now retired from a paid position and I am being called to a higher level of volunteerism. I am deeply humbled to have served my RCMA Family. Thanks be to God, there are brighter days ahead.

What has RCMA meant to your life?

Denise: The organization has helped me build and maintain relationships that helped me become very successful throughout my career. The crowning glory of my career was being appointed to the Board of Directors of RCMA. Serving on the board since 2016 has given me greater insight to the faith-based market and helped my growth both on a professional and personal level.

Mollie: It has allowed me and others to experience growth and a deeper faith through our involvement with this religious group. RCMA; Where Faith Meets. I am a stronger meeting planner because of my connection to this group. Three of its main components that I have embraced are: Relationship, Education, and Leadership.
