FEATURE DESTINATION: Anaheim, California

What makes Anaheim a great place for faith-based meetings?

As a best-in-class meeting and convention destination, our team of experts has all the resources needed to support groups of all sizes. Our Destination Services team acts as an extension of our client’s team to provide seamless and efficient support throughout the planning process.

Our destination itself is built on bringing people together, and being in the heart of Southern California, we are immersed in a cultural melting pot where visitors and locals alike feel a sense of belonging. With its accessibility, family-friendly appeal, and supportive environment for faith-based events, Anaheim is a prime location for spiritual gatherings, retreats, meetings, and conventions.

What are some of Anaheim’s unique and major meeting spaces?

Whether planning for intimate panel discussions or larger-than-life networking experiences, gathering indoors with round table discussions, or outdoors with evening firework views, our destination has venues to accommodate it all.

ARTIC: The Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) is a local transit hub that doubles as a striking event space. It’s a sleek, modern venue that can host up to 1400 guests. The iconic arch of the building lights up the evening sky with an array of colors.

Anaheim Convention Center: The Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) spans 53 acres with 1.8 million square feet of function space and numerous dynamic features. The ACC reigns as the largest exhibit facility on the West Coast.

The Grove of Anaheim: World-class musicians, celebrated comedians, and commanding entertainers perform at The Grove of Anaheim. Distinctively styled rooms and lounges make this an ideal venue for private events, corporate receptions, dinners, and roaming networking events for up to 5,000 guests.

What are some cultural and recreational experiences that faith-based groups would enjoy?

There are a variety of group activities perfect for fostering connections, such as attending an Angels baseball game or Anaheim Ducks hockey game when they’re in season.

Groups can also soak up the SoCal sunshine by hiking through Oak Canyon Nature Center. Or explore the art scene at Muzeo, a cultural hub for community events. Splitsville Luxury Lanes is also a perfect place for groups to connect over a friendly bowling match.

Christ Cathedral may also be of special interest. The stunning building is in our bordering city, Garden Grove, and serves as the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange County. The campus includes a Tower of Hope, Arboretum, Memorial Gardens, and more. Tours are welcomed and can be scheduled in advance.

There really is so much to do, which is why we’ve created experience passes for our groups, highlighting some popular attractions throughout our destination.

What are new enhancements of interest to event planners?

We’re stepping into what we proudly call Anaheim’s ‘Golden Decade’ of development. A transformative billion-dollar investment project, OCVIBE, is underway—hailed as Orange County’s new downtown, featuring cutting-edge dining and entertainment venues. The first phase of development is set to debut in 2026, shaping the city’s future for years to come.

Additionally, we’re eagerly anticipating the world-class sporting events coming our way and the transformative DisneylandForward expansion at Disneyland Resort, all occurring in the decade ahead.
