EMERGE 25 Opening Reception: Abbey on Monroe
The opening reception for EMERGE 2025 in Phoenix is set to take place at a striking new event venue, Abbey on Monroe. Located at the original site of the Phoenix First Baptist Church, this Italian Gothic-style building, which first opened in 1930, has a storied history. After a devastating fire, the structure was left in ruins, with only the walls and concrete floors surviving.
The new owners have transformed the site into a premier event space while preserving as much of the original building as possible. Iconic features such as the large rose window, bell tower, arched windows, and columns remain intact, offering a blend of historic charm and modern elegance. Abbey on Monroe promises to be an unforgettable setting for the start of EMERGE 2025.
