Giving Back at Emerge

An important value embedded in RCMA and present at every Emerge event is service. Partnerships are formed with local organizations that are providing direct help to people in need. This year RCMA’s key partner was Impact Irving, who provided serving opportunities throughout the area. Groups served in the community and at the convention center, helping to:

  • Assemble kits, organize food, and fill food orders for clients in need at the Irving Cares Food Pantry.

  • Make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the homeless at the Salvation Army’s Shelter.

  • Be a reading buddy for children from Thomas Haley Elementary School who struggle to read at their grade level.

  • Create “no-sew” blankets for people in need by cutting and tying together fleece materials.

We are so grateful for the chance to give back in small ways and contribute to the important work these organizations are doing each day.
