Feature Destination: Valley Forge & Montegomery County

What makes Valley Forge a great place for faith-based meetings?

Valley Forge and Montgomery County, PA offers an ideal east coast location, as we’re a short drive from the Philadelphia International Airport and offer many of the same amenities as major cities, but at a more affordable price point. Our location, mixed with amazing hospitality offerings, truly makes it a welcoming destination for all. It’s always our pleasure showing off our home to those that are visiting.

What are some of Valley Forge’s unique and major meeting spaces?

In Valley Forge, we have over 300 venues that can host meetings and events. Groups of 1,000+ attendees have options at our largest venues such as the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center and the Valley Forge Casino Resort. For groups that are a few hundred, there are fantastic options such as the Sheraton Valley Forge, Crowne Plaza King of Prussia, Alloy, a Doubletree Hotel and many more. The majority of our largest venues have undergone recent renovations and improvements. When working with our destination experts, we take the time to learn what’s important and do our best to match up the best fit overall!

What are some cultural and recreational experiences that faith-based groups would enjoy?

Valley Forge truly offers something for everyone! Our faith-based groups enjoy being able to experience the history of the destination by exploring the Valley Forge National Historical Park, and the Bryn Aythen Historical District, which features the beautiful grounds and Bryn Athyn Cathedral. Always popular is the King of Prussia Mall, which is one of the largest in the United States with over 450 stores. There really is so much to do, which is why we’ve created experience passes for our groups, which highlight some of the more popular attractions throughout our destination.

What are new enhancements of interest to event planners?

Our destination is excited for what’s to come in 2025 and beyond! We’re anticipating the opening of two new major experiences, Eataly and Netflix House. Both will be located at the King of Prussia Mall and will be the first of its kind within Pennsylvania.

Beyond 2025, we’re getting ready for America 250 in 2026. As we celebrate our nation’s historic birthday, there’s no better place to be than the Greater Philadelphia Area, where major celebrations will take place.
