A Hidden Gem: YMCA of the Rockies
What makes YMCA of the Rockies a great place for faith-based meetings?
The YMCA of the Rockies is ideal for faith-based groups, offering unique facilities such as indoor and
outdoor chapel spaces and the Leggett Christian Center, which has its own faith-focused library.
Additionally, the resort has a Chapel Ministry department which is responsible for creating a welcoming spiritual atmosphere to enhance the guest experience. They curate faith-based programming and activities like worship services, prayer walks, Bible studies, Christian education programming, and more. There are also a number of self-guided, faith-based activities available on the property:
Interactive Prayer Trail – Walk the trail and encounter 5 interactive stations based on the prayer forms of Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication, and Intercession. All ages will find this a fun and meaningful way to pray.
Labyrinth – A Labyrinth is a spiritual tool, a path of prayer, a walking meditation. Our Labyrinth is designed out of stones and located behind the Museum. Brochures about the Labyrinth and how to walk it are located at the starting point.
Bible Point Trail – Along the trail you will encounter selected Psalms that sing to the glory of God revealed in nature.
Beatitude Study Trail – Enjoy a one mile loop hike while studying the beatitudes from Jesus’ famous “Sermon on the Mount.”
What are some of YMCA of the Rockies’ major meeting spaces?
