Some Things to Look Forward to….
Seasons Greetings from everyone here at RCMA! We have many things to look forward to, but first and foremost is a beautiful holiday season with friends and family. Our sincerest wish is that you are able take some time and enjoy the warmth and love of the season.
Right beyond the New Year is Emerge in Omaha. What a perfect opportunity to start the year off strong by enhancing your education and networking with colleagues and friends.
At this year’s Emerge you definitely have some things to look forward to. We have a number of new activities planned. For the first time we are doing a Step Challenge sponsored by our good friends at Meet Minneapolis. This will help us work off the calories we stored up during the holidays AND you can win some great prizes!
We also are doing a Headshot Lounge from 9-5 during Tuesday’s Registration this year sponsored by our fantastic partners at the Daytona Beach CVB. There will be a stylist to help make sure you’re looking your absolute best before getting a professional headshot done that you can utilize on LinkedIn or in your network.
A popular favorite is coming back. The third annual Emerge Scavenger Hunt sponsored by the ever-popular Susan Smith and her MeetNKY team. Top prize remains $1000 in gift cards to share amongst the victors so start planning your team and get excited!
Another new activity is our Gaming for Good opportunity stationed at registration. Dave Bradley and the incredibly talented Shreveport – Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau are hosting a gaming area that includes a giant Connect Four, Cornhole and other games. If you can beat them you are helping us reach our goal of $1,000 to be donated to a local charity. Start training now because these guys and gals are pros!
If all this fun, education and networking gets your back or neck a little sore and your phone or smart device battery is starting to falter then fear not because our friends at Visit Greenville SC have you covered. They have sponsored our Relax and Recharge Station. Simply stop by their booth (#913) to plug in your smart device and have one of two licensed masseuses put in a little work to get you and your device back to 100%.
We all have lots to look forward to. We, at RCMA, are looking forward to greeting you in Omaha, spending impactful moments together as a community and helping make sure you leave empowered and energized to plan better events and enhance your professional standing.
